Granny A-Day Project

I have just come across this post on Facebook here!

This is such an Awsome Idea! I might even start a 365 Granny A-Day Project of my own!

This comes from a Blog: things to make and do.

blocks 1-25

If you would like to check it out and learn more about her project, go here! In this blog post she mentions here pattern resources from books, websites, her own patterns, how-to join techniques, & tutorials! She chooses patterns and yarn colors as she goes based on what appeals to her at the moment.  She is making 6-, 8-, and 10-inch squares, all with her trusty size H Clover hook... "(unless otherwise noted)". She says "I have not found many resources about joining squares from different patterns. If you come across any, please share them with me!" If you choose to join in or find any other resources you can email her here: adaiha@gmail.com

She mentions the yarn she is using, which is:
  • Worsted Weight Acrylic for Blankets
    • Caron Simply Soft
    • Lion Brand Vanna's Choice
    • Red Heart Soft
    • Loops & Threads Impeccable
    • Various skeins of thrifted yarn
  • Worsted Weight Wool for Potholders
    • Knit Picks Wool of the Andes
And, also adds that if you mention her blog on the web, that...."I really appreciate that these super nice people have taken the time to write and blog about the stuff I'm making! (I never mind if anyone uses my photos as long as they link back to me.) If you have written something about my granny-a-day project, let me know and I will add the link here! :)"

If you would like to check out some photo's of the squares she has completed, go here to take a look!

Keep up the good work things to make and do!

New Pattern

At Eve.C.C. we are Super Excited to share a photo of our New Pattern!

Its our New Houndstooth Beanie pattern!
After seeing so much of this Old-School pattern comming back into fashion, I decided I needed to come up with a crochet version.  This is it! I hope everyone likes it! I happen to think it is Adorable for either Girls or Boys! It can be made in a variety of color choices! Using the recomended yarn, it comes out super soft and squishy! :)

*Here's what one of our Pattern testers had to say about this New Pattern:

Dee Norred-Forrest from TumbleDownz said-

".....These little hats are fantastic! ...The pattern is clear, easy to follow, and comes out true to size. The only change I made was to finish off the bottom with a single round of single crochets. As you can see, I love making them because I sat and made 4 yesterday. :) Thanks and lots of luck with your pattern sales!! Dee"

This pattern includes:
Sizes: Newborn to Child
Yarn: I Love This Yarn (from Hobby Lobby)
Skill: Easy
Hook: H & J

It is available for purchase in our Etsy Shop or you can purchase it directly from our F.B. page by clicking on the Shop Now Tab!
We hope you enjoy this pattern as much as we do!
Cant wait to show you our NEXT NEW PATTERN!

(Eve.C.C. had no current affiliation with or recieves pay for metioning them in this post)
